Location: Los Angeles, CA

Shift: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm (30min lunch, 30min break)

Salary Range: $95,000 – $110,000 annually

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Systems Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, securing, and optimizing the core systems that support both our internal team and our clients. This role focuses on identity management, email security, endpoint management, scripting, and workflow automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce technical noise.

You should be highly technical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating complex concepts into practical solutions. A passion for automation, systems design, and recognizing patterns that improve long-term scalability is key. AI integration experience is a plus.

NOTE: This is a remote position with rare possible onsites in Los Angeles area, so you must be able to commute within Los Angeles proper and have valid drivers license.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Architect, configure, and maintain identity and access workflows across M365, Google Workspace, and other SaaS environments.
  • Implement and manage Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, and internal frameworks to enhance security and user experience.
  • Ensure proper configuration and security of email systems, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, routing rules, and mail-flow troubleshooting.
  • Manage and optimize MDM platforms such as Intune, JAMF, Mosyle, and related AutoPilot/Apple Business Manager integrations.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Python, and GAM to streamline processes and eliminate repeatable tasks.
  • Identify recurring patterns, inefficiencies, and noise across client environments, then build technical solutions to mitigate them.
  • Improve and support Windows, macOS, Linux, and Windows Server environments.
  • Assist with system design, configuration management, and deployment workflows that support global scalability.
  • Work cross-functionally with service teams to ensure reliable and secure technology experiences for all users.
  • Support the development of modern automation, AI-assisted workflows, and advanced monitoring enhancements.
  • Document systems, processes, and best practices for internal and client use.
  • Perform other technical duties as assigned to appropriately meet the needs of the client.
  • Function as a point of escalation for the team.
  • Service desk coverage from 3:00–6:00 PM PST will be limited to incident response and urgent matters.
  • In the future, this position may involve conducting initial onsite visits with clients in the Los Angeles area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND MUST HAVES:

  • 4+ years of hands-on technical experience supporting identity, endpoint, or infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong understanding of M365, Google Workspace, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO, and Conditional Access.
  • Proficient with email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and mail flow troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills in PowerShell, Bash/Shell/CMD, Python, and/or GAM scripting.
  • Experience with MDM/EMM platforms (Intune, Jamf, Mosyle, etc.) and zero-touch deployment tools (AutoPilot, Apple Business Manager).
  • Broad OS knowledge: Windows Server, Windows 11, macOS, Linux.
  • Ability to recognize recurring operational patterns and design scalable solutions.
  • Experience implementing security best practices across identity, email, and endpoint systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • AI workflow integration experience is a plus.

Operations Technical Coordinator

Location: New York, NY

Shift: Monday – Friday, 9am – 6pm (30min lunch, 30min break)

Pay: $25 – $27 per hour

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an operations coordinator with at least 2 years of experience in a tech related position or field. You must have working knowledge of computers and comfortable with technical terms. If you are a tech enthusiast, this is the position for you. Please note you will have to take and pass an technical operations assessment to continue in the hiring process. Must be proficient with the following:

  • Have a basic understanding of technical concepts and relate to non-technical users with approachability and empathy.
  • Office 365.
  • Calendar management.
  • Empathetic and inquisitive approach to customers.
  • Adept at learning new software.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain situationally aware.
  • Experience working in the tech industry, whether retail or B2B.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency and understanding of priorities.
  • Strong sense of adhering to systems and processes.
  • Advocate best practices with ticket management.

 

Experience:

    • Tech industry: 3 years (Required)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Get up to speed with a 2 week in house orientation. Learning the ins and outs of our clients and the DeepTech way to ensure you are set up for success.
  • Work out of our mid-town office with great team and report to our Operations Manager
  • Your day-to-day requires strong customer service skills as well as excellent organization and documentation
  • Be a reliable first point of call for our clients – Answer phones, create service tickets, and dispatch to appropriate team member.
  • Maintain and manage scheduling between our clients and the service desk team.
  • Assist in scheduling of internal meetings and various small tasks.
  • Participate and contribute to staff and departmental meetings.
